Washington County Public Schools announced the start of their Summer Feeding Program on Monday, June 8. The program will extend through Thursday, July 16.
During the Summer Feeding Program, Washington County Public Schools will have meals available for pick-up on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each participating week. On Monday and Thursday, students will receive two (2) days worth of meals to provide students with enough food Monday through Friday.
Meal are currently available for pick up at the following sites:
– Washington Manor: 700 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Sandersville (11:30 A.M. – 12:15 P.M.)
– Elderite Community Center: 316 Hall Street, Sandersville (11:20 A.M. – 11:50 A.M.)
– Washington Estates: 601 Washington Drive, Tennille (Club House in Phase II) (11:30 A.M. – 12:15 P.M.)
– Tennille Woman’s Club:132 Smith Street, Tennille (11:30 A.M. – 12:15 P.M.)
– Davisboro Community Center: 206 N. Main Street, Davisboro (12:10 P.M. – 12:40 P.M.)
– Harrison Fire Station: 49 Donovan Road, Harrison (12:10 P.M. – 12:40 P.M.)
– Warthen Community Center: 95 Bethlehem Church Road, Warthen (11:30 A.M. – 12:15 P.M.)
– Old T.J. Elder Middle School Cafeteria: 602 Hines Street, Sandersville (12:00 P.M. – 12:30 P.M.)
– Riddleville Community Center: 10292 Highway 231, Riddleville (11:20 A.M. – 11:50 A.M.)

– Temple of Praise Church Carport: 313 East Church Street, Sandersville (11:20 A.M. – 11:50 A.M.)
– Kendall Heights Church of God: 829 Jordan Mill Road, Sandersville (12:10 P.M. – 12:40 P.M.)
– Ridge Road Primary & Elementary School: 285 Ridge Road, Sandersville (11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.)
– T.J. Elder Middle School: 902 Linton Road South, Sandersville (11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.)
– Washington County High School: 420 Riddleville Road, Sandersville (11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.)
Washington County Public Schools is practicing social distancing (10 feet between individuals) for picking up meals. No social gathering is allowed prior to the meal bus arriving. The meal bus remains at participating locations for the allotted time. Washington County Public Schools states that this provides ample time for participants to pick-up a meal in a healthy, safe, and orderly fashion.
