Sandersville Police Alerts Public of Potential Danger

On Saturday, July 18, the Sandersville Police Department (SPD) took to social media to alert the public of potential danger in the local area.

In a Facebook message, posted at 3:53 P.M., Sandersville Police stated that the Department had recently received two (2) reports of a 2015 or 2016 model, dark gray colored, Dodge Dart attempting to “entice or coax” young females into the vehicle.

“We are currently trying to locate vehicle. We do not have the tag number, but were told that it is a Georgia tag,” said the SPD Facebook post.

The social media message claimed that the vehicle was last seen in the area of West Floyd Street and Elizabeth Street in Sandersville.
