The Sandersville Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at approximately 4:00 A.M. on Sunday, July 26.
According to the Sandersville Police Department, the shooting took place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue behind Kaolin Plaza in Sandersville.
When Sandersville Police officers arrived, a conscious male victim was found on the ground with an obvious deformity to his lower leg from the gunshot wound.
