A special election to fill two vacant Tennille City Council seats will take place on Tuesday, November 3.

Qualifying took place last week for the District 2, Post 1 and the District 3, Post 1 Council seats.

These seats were formerly held by Marlene Garrard-Veal for District 2, Post 1, and Elaine Walk for District 3, Post 1.

Two qualified for the District 2, Post 1 Council seat: Sidney Swann and Rhonda Lemons.

Two qualified for the District 3, Post 1 City Council seat: Deborah Rhodes and Bobby Weston Williford.
