“Keep praying – every chance that pops into your brain, say ‘God, help; God, show up; God, move” – surround the family of Tina Prince with your prayers and your love,” said Pastor Joe Crosby of the Sandersville First Church of the Nazarene during the Thursday, June 3 prayer vigil for Tina Prince.

46-year-old Tina Prince was reported missing by her family on Saturday, May 29. Prince was last seen by her family at Puebla’s Mexican Restaurant in downtown Sandersville at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, May 28.

Prince received a telephone call while with her family; she exited the restaurant to take the call, and when she returned, she told her family she was leaving for the evening.

Prince’s vehicle, a blue 2018 Kia Forte, was discovered in the Walmart parking lot early Sunday morning. Prince was not located with the vehicle.

Since Prince’s disappearance, law enforcement has utilized every resource available to try and locate Prince, a first-grade teacher at Ridge Road Primary School.

During the June 3 prayer vigil, fellow first-grade teacher Hayle Moon shared words from fellow teachers that describe Prince.

“If we could tell her and she hears this, these are words that describe her: you’re loving; you’re helpful; you’re impartial; you’re caring; you’re passionate; you’re loyal, devoted, humble, appreciate, and kind-hearted,” said Moon.

In addition, Moon discussed one of the last conversations she had with Tina Prince on the last day of school. Moon stated that she told Prince to be sure to love on her grandbabies over the summer, and Prince assured her that she would.

“Anytime she talks about her grandbabies and her girls, her world just lights up,” said Moon.

Pastor Crosby provided a statement from Tina Prince’s family during the prayer vigil. In their statement, the family thanked the community for their ongoing support, as well as law enforcement for working diligently to find answers into Prince’s disappearance.

“We come together as a family and a community to ask that you pray Tina will be brought home safely,” reads the statement from Tina Prince’s family. They continued by saying, “We believe in the power of prayer; we especially believe in the power of united prayer. We believe in the power of prayer to change the hearts of people, including the person or people that might be responsible for Tina’s disappearance. As we come together tonight at this prayer vigil for Tina, we ask our community to seek God, to pray without ceasing, and to do everything in your power to help bring her [Tina Prince] home.”

Tina Prince, 46, is described as a 5’1” tall, white female, weighing approximately 140 pounds with green eyes and burgundy hair. She was last seen wearing a black tank-top, camouflage leggings, and dark colored flip-flops.

Anyone with any information concerning Prince’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Investigator Trey Burgamy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office by calling 478-553-0911.
