Drugs Seized and Four Arrested in “Operation Fred”

Four individuals were arrested on Tuesday, August 17 following a multi-month undercover drug operation involving two counties, known as “Operation Fred.”

According to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran and Johnson County Sheriff Greg Rowland, nearly seven ounces of methamphetamine was seized during the operation, and four individuals were arrested.

“Operation Fred” included deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force, and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision.

The four individuals arrested in “Operation Fred” include: Ronald Franklin Kinslow, 31, of Wrightsville, Neil Price, 46, of Bartow, Daniel Lee Wittmer, 36, of Wrightsville, and Thomas Roy Frady, 53, of Wrightsville.

Ronald Franklin Kinslow is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and probation violation.

Neil Price is charged with multiple counts of sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and probation violation.

Daniel Lee Wittmer is charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

Thomas Roy Frady is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

According to Washington County Sheriff Cochran and Johnson County Sheriff Rowland, this investigation is ongoing, and they anticipate more arrests.
