If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, you won’t have to look very far. The City of Sandersville will host “Wheels and Reels,” a free drive-in movie night on Friday, February 11 at 6 p.m.
According to Sandersville’s Economic Development Director Andrew Simpson, this event will provide entertainment and fun for the entire family.
Wheels and Reels Movie Night will showcase Disney’s Encanto.
Sandersville’s Economic Development Director Simpson explained that the film premiered in theatres in November of 2021, and was recently released on DVD.
The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift — every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.
Wheels and Reels Movie Night will take place on Friday, February 11 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Depot Disc Golf Course located at 814 Linton Road in Sandersville.
This is a free event; there is no charge to view the movie. Concessions will be available for purchase during the event.
