A fiery four-vehicle incident on Tuesday morning fortunately saw no fatalities on scene.
The crash occurred at the intersection of the Fall Line Freeway and Sparta Road around 11:15 A.M. on Tuesday, June 6.
Crews from the Sandersville Police Department, Sandersville Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington County Emergency Management Services were dispatched to the scene.
According to the Sandersville Fire Department, multiple individuals required medical assistance. One person was trapped inside of a vehicle.
The Fire Department was successful in extracting the entrapped individual from the automobile and in ceasing all present fire hazards.
The scene was then transferred to the Georgia State Patrol and Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division.
