Ms. Helen Gilmore of Sandersville passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Augusta University Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 26 at 2:30 P.M. in the Solomon Temple Baptist Church of Wadley with Reverend Eric Tate officiating.
Helen was born in Jefferson County on July 5, 1958, to the parentage of Mrs. Nora L. Gilmore and the late Mr. N.J. Gilmore. She attended the Wadley High School. Mrs. Gilmore was employed for many years at Sutherland Sewing in Carrollton. Helen enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.
Ms. Gilmore is survived by her mother, Ms. Nora L. Gilmore of Wrens; sisters, Ms. Addie Dixon of Wadley, Ms. Mary Hicks of Jacksonville, Florida, Ms. Sandra Gilmore (Ronnie Haynes) of Sandersville, Ms. Lashonda Gilmore of Sandersville, Ms. Christina Gilmore of Augusta, Ms. Diane Gilmore of Dania, Florida, Ms. Kim Gilmore of Dania, Florida, and Ms. Tami Gilmore of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; brothers, Mr. Willie Lee Gilmore of Wadley, Mr. Willie James Gilmore of Wadley, and Mr. Andrew Gilmore of Augusta; aunts, Ms. Betty Ruth Jackson of Bartow and Ms. Gladys Howard of Wadley; devoted great-nephew: Mr. Darieon Daniels; devoted friends: Mr. Elton Wright of Sandersville and Ms. Cynthia Nelson of Sandersville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
