Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson among top People’s Choice Country Awards nominees

The first-annual People’s Choice Country Awards announced the nominees for their inaugural event, set to take place Sept. 28, 2023 in Nashville. Morgan Wallen leads the nominees with 11 nods, followed by Luke Combs and HARDY, who each have nine, Jelly Roll with eight, Lainey Wilson with seven, Zach Bryan and Kane Brown with six nods each and Megan Moroney with five.

Voting is now open for the awards, and fans can vote for their favorite artists through Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. ET online at www.votepcca.com. Additionally, votes cast on Turbo Tuesday, August 22 (12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. ET) will count twice.

The People’s Choice Country Awards will be hosted by Little Big Town, with Toby Keith receiving the Country Icon Award at the event, presented to him by fellow Oklahoma native Blake Shelton. The two-hour telecast will air via NBC and Peacock, live from the Grand Ole Opry on Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
