Additional Arrests Made Following Recent ATV and Motorcycle Thefts

Two additional individuals have been arrested following the recovery of two stolen vehicles.

As previously reported by WACO 100, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies recently responded to calls of a stolen CFMOTO ATV from a hunting camp on Indian Trail Road in Sandersville.

With the aid of Washington County citizen tips, the Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division was able to locate the ATV.

During the course of the investigation, a previously reported stolen motorcycle from a residence on Linton Road was also recovered.

28-year-olds Tyler Waters and Savanna McCoy, 32-year-old Whitney Webb, and 34-year-old Jonathan Johnson were arrested on multiple theft, burglary, criminal trespass, and drug possession related charges.

Warrants were then issued for the arrest of Triston Waters, 26 years of age, for his alleged involvement into the case.

Waters was arrested on Monday, January 8, at a residence on Edgar Lane in Sandersville.

A subsequent search of the home revealed additional reportedly stolen property.

Waters has been charged with a myriad of theft, burglary, trespass, probation violation, and illegal drug and gun possession offenses.

23-year-old Kathryn Walls of Warthen was also arrested on Monday for her alleged involvement in the case with multiple drug possession and investigation hindering related charges.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office states that this investigation is still ongoing and holds the potential for even more arrests. The United States Marshal Service, Milledgeville Police Department, and Georgia Department of Corrections are providing assistance.
