Search Continues for Missing Laurens County Man

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is helping to spread the message of the lookout efforts in the search for a missing man from neighboring Laurens County.

Garland Warren, an 82-year-old white male, was last seen on Monday of this week.

He stands 5-feet 6-inches, weighs 170 pounds, and has brown eyes and grey hair.

On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing a camouflage shirt and blue jeans.

Warren left his home in Rentz driving a black 2003 Toyota Tundra truck with the Georgia license plate number BTQ2000.

The truck has a Georgia Southern University sticker on the drivers side back glass and an Under Armor sticker on the passenger side back glass. It has new fenders on the front drivers side and is freshly painted on the back passengers side. The remainder of the truck is faded in color.

He was last located in Roberta on Monday, where it is reported he entered a Frozen Joe’s to ask for directions to the nearest gas station.

Warren was recently diagnosed with dementia.

He does not have a cellphone. His chihuahua-mix dog is also missing, presumed to be or have been with him.
