Reverend Dr. Atheal Pierce, age 84, of East Dublin passed away on Sunday, September 22 surrounded by family at his residence. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, September 29th at 12:00 p.m. in the Brown Grove Missionary Baptist Church of East Dublin. Reverend Neal Dixon will officiate. Interment will be held in the Pierce Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home of Sandersville.
Survivors include his siblings, Lee Mack Pierce and wife Linda, Caldonia Pierce, and Fronie Ann Pierce; niece, Charlene Denise Johnson; nephew, Christian Edward Johnson; and a host of additional nieces and nephews.
