Mrs. Judy Turner Morgan, age 75, of Tennille passed away on Wednesday, December 4 in an Augusta area hospital following a brief illness. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 3:00 p.m. in the Zeta Cemetery of Tennille. Reverend Dr. Brian Welch will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kyle Turner, Lon Turner, David Askew, Ryan Barron, Sean Strickland, Larry Smith, Jerod Korn, and Wes McCloud. The family will greet friends following the service in the Cemetery.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Dublin, the daughter of the late Thomas Turner and the late Myrtice Horton Turner. She was a lifelong resident of Tennille. Judy spent a majority of her working career as a Radiology Technologist with Oconee Regional Medical Center of Milledgeville. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the  Tennille Baptist Church. She was regarded as a hard working simple, yet elegant woman. Judy enjoyed helping others and was a lover of all animals, especially her dogs, Gracie and George. Mrs. Morgan was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, particularity “Dooley’s Dawgs.” She could often be found on her front porch swing. Above all, Judy dearly loved her children and her grandchildren. Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her son, Grayson Strickland; and siblings, Hugh Turner, Harold Turner, and Ellen Askew.

Survived include her son, Justin Strickland and wife Tiffini of Eatonton; grandchildren, Tristin Strickland, Kyle Strikland, Sean Strickland, and Taylor Strickland; four great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Burgamy of Tennille; and many nieces and nephews.
