Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, and Daniel Blackman were victorious in Washington County in the January 5 runoff elections.
The following are the unofficial and incomplete election results for the Tuesday, January 5 runoff elections:
For U.S. Senate
– Incumbent Republican candidate David Perdue received 4,156 votes, or 48.8 percent.
– Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff received 4,366 votes, or 51.2 percent.
For U.S. Senate to fill the unexpired term of Sen. Johnny Isakson
– Incumbent Republican candidate Kelly Loeffler received 4,139 votes, or 48.5 percent
– Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock received 4,396 votes, or 51.5 percent
For Public Service Commission
– Incumbent Republican Lauren “Bubba” McDonald received 3,556 votes, or 45.9 percent
– Democratic candidate Daniel Blackman received 4,190 votes, or 54.1 percent
64.7% of the 13,152 registered voters in Washington County voted in the runoff elections.
Perdue, Loeffler, and McDonald led in the precincts of Davisboro, Deepstep, Harrison, Oconee, Riddleville, Warthen, and In-Person Early Voting.
Ossoff, Warnock, and Blackman won the precincts of Sandersville, Tennille, and Mail-In Early Voting.
