Fling into spring with the City of Sandersville Spring Fling this weekend!
Tomorrow, on Saturday, April 20, join the festivities and fun on the Downtown Square.
From 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., patrons can enjoy food, music, and more.
Over 60 vendors will be on site serving citizens. 8 different food truck options will be available for those hungry and hunting some grub.
The family friendly event will offer fun for those of all ages.
A face painting station is set to be open from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the recently painted gazebo.
Cake auctions will also be ongoing during the same time frame.
Newly offered this year, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., greet some furry friends in the petting zoo located on the green space by the Genealogy Museum.
Plenty of additional children’s games and activities will also be available for kids to enjoy, including a station to build their own stuffed animal!
The City of Sandersville is also proud to present a sensory area this year for children that become overwhelmed and need a quiet space to calm down. It will be located in the Council Chambers of the Police Department.
Great tunes will accompany attendees all afternoon, as DJ Corey King will be providing music from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Following, the High Mileage Band will “tear the courthouse down” in concert from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
During the nightcap, open containers will be allowed – no bottles, though. The Fall Line Brewing Co. will have a serving truck set up.
