Mrs. Walters was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late John Sanders and the late Lucy Pounds Sanders. She was a 1965 graduate of the Washington County High School. Linda then began her working career as a Purchasing Agent with Washington Manufacturing Company before employment with Meeks Tractor Company in Inventory Management. Mrs. Walters was a longtime member of the Sisters Baptist Church, and active participant in the Church Woman’s Missionary Union. She was an avid reader and enjoyed to bake. In retirement, Linda and her husband loved to travel near and far on their motorcycle – one of her final trips across country on their trike to dip her toes in the Pacific Ocean. Above all, Mrs. Walters cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tanner and husband Benjamin of Eatonton, and Ryan VonHoven of Alpharetta; great-grandchildren, Landon Rainey, Jeffrey Rainey, Elijah Tanner, Luke Tanner, and Thomas Tanner; and siblings, Grady Sanders and wife Bertha of Sandersville, Marie S. Keyton and husband Sammy of Wrightsville, and John Alan Sanders of Sandersville.
